Why, oh why have we not been to the Getty prior to now?  Tis a magical, surreal land with free entrance and free parking on Saturday nights.  After hearing a sermon at church preached on the artist, Gerome, we decided we had to see the paintings for ourselves.  Sorry to say, the exhibit closed today, nonetheless if you ever have a chance to see this artist’s work, please do so.
