We spent the first three days of our Europe trip in Rome.  We may have been asleep the first day and half.  I think we went to visit the Vatican City on day 3.  Thus, explaining why the majority of my Rome photos focus on the world’s smallest state of 0.2 miles.  The Sistine Chapel was awe inspiring and is unfortunately not pictured here.  When we climbed St. Peter’s Basilica, Gregorian chants were being sung and sunlight was spilling through the windows in prisms.  It was simply splendid.  Hope you enjoy.
