Wedding FAQ’s

What’s your style?

My style is a mix of fine art and documentary. Your photographs will have a dreamy, bright, authentic quality showcasing the emotional moments of irreplaceable importance,and all the little in-between moments too.  I will document your day  as it unfolds, infusing it with my own romantic interpretation of it.  I can easily direct you into natural looking poses, if you feel uncomfortable and am more than happy to organize family formal portraits.

How many pictures will you take?

For each hour of wedding coverage, you can expect to receive 50-100 images.

Does every wedding collection include high resolution images on a flash drive?

Yes it's your day and your memories, you deserve to have them all. 

Will I be able to make my own prints from the images on the flash drive?

Yes!

When will my proofs, prints, or wedding album be ready?

Proofs are ready for viewing in your online gallery 8-10 weeks after your wedding.  After you choose your favorite images, your fine art prints are mailed within 2 weeks.  Albums take 4-6 weeks to arrive after you’ve signed off on the final design.

Will the proofs I see be retouched, or does that happen after I choose my favorites?

All the proofs you see will be professionally and beautifully edited before you see them.

Should we do a first look and what is it?

I’m a big fan of first looks, but ultimately it’s up to the bride and groom.  First looks are when the bride and groom decide to see each other before the ceremony, usually in a gorgeous location.  First looks are very intimate and tend to allow for more time for relaxed couple’s shots.  Think of it as a mini love photography session before saying your, “I Do’s.”  Most of my couples really like the first look because after the ceremony, they only need to focus on family formals and wedding party photographs, and then it’s off to their reception to have a grand time.

I’m a destination bride, can we Skype?

Absolutely, I insist! :) 

Who will be photographing my wedding?

Myself and the love of my life! If Ivan isn’t available, one of my fellow lead wedding photographers will take his place.

Do you have pictures of entire weddings I can see?

How can I make sure I look good in my photos?

Leave some breathing room in your wedding day schedule.  Relax.  Remember you’re marrying the love of your life.  Get a good night’s sleep and drink lots of water the day before.

How far out should I book you?

We tend to book out at least 6 months in advance.

Step Two: Meet for coffee or schedule a Skype date!

Step Three: Choose your favorite wedding collection.

Step Four: To officially book your wedding day, a signed contract and your deposit are due.  Your remaining balance is due 30 days before your wedding.
