Meet Jill, a beautiful bride, who wed the love of her life Jay, a charming groom, in an intimate Oahu secret beach wedding surrounded by their precious children and closest friends. Jill is from Oregon and Jay from Minnesota. They stayed at the Disney Aulani resort in Ko Olina, which was only a short walk away from Lanikuhonua Beach. They are both avid runners and work for Nike, which is where they met. If I remember correctly, I think it involved an office party and karaoke and maybe even love at first sight.
I felt so lucky to witness their destination ceremony. It was so clearly evident, that they are for each other in every way possible. And by that I mean, you can just tell that they are really rooting for one another’s happiness and success in a selfless way. So yes, I am a hopeless romantic and yes I love love and wedding vows and choked up grooms and glowing brides, and these two were a little bit of all of that. What’s more, I felt like I was hanging out with friends. The vibe between them, their family, and closest friends was so easy going, fun, and light hearted. To top it all, not only were we in a colorful sunset location with the perfect wedding weather, a Hawaiian monk seal lay nearby.
